Giving

We believe Jesus came to be our example of love, servanthood and giving. OAKMC believes and teaches the principle of tithing and giving. You are invited to embrace and exercise these life changing principles by generously contributing to the many community supported endeavors of love. Deuteronomy 28:8 says, The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. We have been blessed to offer support to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Peninsula Food Bank, area schools and families.

There are many ways to give in God's Kingdom. Luke 6:38 reminds us to Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

At OAKMC, our ministry encourages the blessing of giving financially, by way of tithes, offerings and ministry donations; in service, by way of volunteering with events and assisting others; and evangelizing the Word of God, by way of teaching, and sharing the plan of salvation. Living your life honoring God and loving your neighbor are foundational to giving as modeled by our Savior Jesus Christ. God loves a cheerful giver.
